Nicholas M. Moccia, who was born in Brooklyn and raised in Staten Island, is committed to helping New York’s homeowners, landlords and tenants in the litigation of complex real estate matters including foreclosure defense, foreclosure appeals, evictions, illegal lockouts for commercial and residential tenants, the rescission of forged deeds and other fraudulent conveyances as well as quiet title actions.  Mr. Moccia has experience with complex landlord-tenant issues including rent control, rent stabilization, Airbnb litigation, as well as 421-a and J-51 tax abatements.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Moccia was a solo practitioner and small business owner for eight years, and from this experience he brings an entrepreneurial perspective to the practice of law.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Moccia obtained a Master’s Degree in Ancient Greek and Latin, mastery of which was the traditional academic precursor to the study of law.

Mr. Moccia is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Richmond County Bar Association and the Brooklyn Bar Association.  He represents clients in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Staten Island.
